Wharton Entrepreneur Advisor Program

Wharton E Club

Goals of the program:

  • Promote entrepreneurship
  • Help Wharton MBAs identify and design business plans that can be launched upon graduation

Structure of the program:

Group Meetings

  • Discuss key success drivers & ways to mitigate risk
  • Discuss participant business concepts
  • Brainstorm for new business concepts
  • Team up with other MBAs to develop new business concepts

Individual Meetings

  • Weekly
  • Initial meeting 30 minutes; subsequent meetings 1 hour
  • Sign-up via WebCafe

Jeff Becker, Founder of PC Helps Support

Formed in 1992, PC Helps was based on a business plan written by Founder Jeffrey Becker while attaining his MBA.

In 2005, with PC Helps supporting over four million end-users nationwide, the Founder sold a majority ownership position in the Company to two private equity firms.

Information for 2009-2010 will be available from the Wharton Entrepreneurship Club in the fall.
