About Wharton Entrepreneurial Programs' Resume Book

Students interested in working at a start-up or early stage company are invited to submit a statement of interest and resume to WEP's Resume Book. Submissions for the Fall 2009 Cycle will be accepted until November 10, 2009 (note this is a new/extended deadline!) and are welcome from any student at the University of Pennsylvania. At the discretion of WEP staff, the Resume Book will be made available to Wharton and Penn friends and alumni interested in hiring students at their start-up companies. The Resume Book will not be made publicly available on WEP's website.

Students included in the resume book will receive regular email notifications from Wharton Entrepreneurial Programs about job opportunities (full-time, part-time/project and internship) that WEP has posted to the Wharton MBA CareerLink and University of Pennsylvania PennLink job boards. Students should also check Career and PennLinks regularly for positions posted by Wharton Entrepreneurial Programs the site regularly for new postings. (Note: Wharton Entrepreneurial Programs will be the listed employer for these positions, the start-up company name will be included in the job title.)

Statement of Interest and Resume

Wharton Entrepreneurial Programs is compiling statements of interest and resumes from for its bi-annual Entrepreneurial Resume book. This Resume Book will be sent to venture and non-venture backed companies with which WEP works, companies that contact WEP with an interest in hiring students, and firms participating in WEP sponsored career events.

(NOTE: WEP will not forward resumes without a statement of interest and reserves the right not to accept statements submitted for positions within the venture capital firms.)
  Please provide a brief statement (250 word limit) explaining why you are interested in working in a start-up environment.
