Entrepreneurial Intern Fellowship/Ambassadors of Entrepreneurship

Available to Wharton Undergraduates, First Year MBAs

The application for the 2009 award - summer deadline - is available here

Application Process: While 3 deadlines were held in Spring 2009, WEP recognizes that this is a unique year, and that a number of students did not secure their summer internships until after the final deadline. As a result, a supplemental summer deadline is being held. The deadline for applying is THURSDAY, JULY 9, 2009 AT NOON (ET).

In Spring 2006, WEP instituted the Wharton Entrepreneurial Intern Fellowship. The Fellowship is awarded to students who plan to spend the summer in an entrepreneurial setting and who demonstrate outstanding academic and extracurricular achievement, a commitment to entrepreneurship at Wharton, and a commitment to pursuing an entrepreneurial career.

Students awarded the Fellowship are expected, in the year following their internship, to serve as Ambassadors of Entrepreneurship. As Ambassadors, it is their responsibility to work with WEP staff to promote the entrepreneurial career path to the Wharton student community and to assist in providing continuity for this program after their summer internships. Visit our Ambassadors of Entrepreneurship page for more information on the Internship program, and to find out more about the past ambassadors.
